We carry two options of Birch Plywood that we often get asked about and wish to illustrate the differences between the two:

Premium Birch Multiply

Made up of equal birch veneers, thick outside face veneers and Weather Boil Proof (WBP) Exterior glue.

Great for making furniture and high-end products with the multiply edge and the thick outside veneer allows sufficient depth for sanding if required and minimal core gaps.

BB/CC Birch Faced Hardwood Plywood

Made up of thinner outside Birch face veneers and a Eucalyptus hardwood core, this option allows for core gaps and core overlaps and has a semi-exterior glue bond in comparison to the WBP on the multiply.

Suitable for DIY projects and cost effective compared to the premium option.
